Technical services for process instrumentation

Choosing the right instrument, putting it into service correctly, keeping it working and having someone to call when it does not — four things that decide whether a measurement point is worth having. SEMAC has done all four since 1994, on the instruments we supply and on the ones already in your plant.

One instrument, four moments

These services are not a menu of unrelated offers. They are the four moments in the life of a measurement point where an engineer makes a difference.

  1. Before it is bought

The wrong technology for the fluid, the line size or the flow profile cannot be fixed later by anything — not by configuration, not by service, not by a certificate. Selection is where most measurement problems are created.

  2. When it goes into service

An instrument that is installed and wired is not yet a working measurement. Configuration, loop checks and a documented handover are what turn one into the other.

  3. When it stops behaving

Fault-finding first, because a reading that has gone strange is as often an installation or process change as a broken device. Then repair — in our workshop where we can, at the manufacturer where we cannot.

  4. Every day in between

Configuration questions, parameter changes, diagnostics read remotely, manufacturer software and firmware. Most of it is resolved without anyone travelling.

Two hubs, Thessaloniki and Athens, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00, with extended hours and overtime when a plant is in an emergency.
