Instrument Calibration in Patra & Western Greece

Western Greece is anchored by the port of Patras and its industrial area, with food processing, paper and plastics production, and a substantial ferry and marine fuel operation. Inland, Agrinio and the Ilia plain add agro-industrial processing. The practical constraint here is distance rather than complexity: mobilisation is the expensive part, so the work is planned to cover as much of a site — or as many nearby sites — as possible per trip.

Patra is served as a planned visit, typically within the week, and we batch nearby sites into the same trip where scheduling allows.

Industrial zones we cover

  • VI.PE. Patras
  • Port of Patras and its fuel installations
  • Agrinio industrial area
  • The Ilia agro-industrial belt around Amaliada and Pyrgos

Local industry

Food processing and canning

Thermal processing, filling and dosing for a regional production base with strong seasonal components.

Paper, packaging and plastics

Steam, drying temperature and process water, where product consistency follows measurement consistency.

Ferry and marine fuel handling

Bunkering and transfer measurement at the port, where the reading is the commercial figure.

Municipal water and wastewater

Abstraction, distribution and treated effluent measurement for the regional utilities.

Boilers and steam systems

Feedwater and steam conditions driving both fuel cost and process capability.

Typical measurement points

  • Distribution input and abstraction metering for regional utilities
  • Treated effluent discharge flow for permit reporting
  • Marine fuel transfer measurement at the port
  • Boiler feedwater and steam temperature and pressure
  • Filling and thermal processing on food lines

Common questions

Tell us about the measurement point you need checked

Describe the instrument and your plant, and we will tell you what can be verified in-situ, what needs a workshop calibration, and what it will take.
