Calibration
On-site verification & calibration services
SEMAC Automation calibrates the three measurements that decide whether a process is profitable, safe and compliant: flow, temperature and pressure. Every service is delivered in the field, against a traceable reference, with a report that states the deviation found and the uncertainty of the measurement.
Flow Meter Calibration & Verification
In-situ verification and calibration of flow meters using a traceable master meter in series, so the line keeps running while the measurement is proven.
Learn moreTemperature Sensor & Transmitter Calibration
Comparison calibration of RTDs, thermocouples and temperature transmitters with a portable dry-block or bath reference, on site.
Learn morePressure & Differential Pressure Calibration
On-site calibration of gauges, pressure and differential-pressure transmitters and switches, using traceable comparators and reference gauges.

Which discipline applies where
All three services share the same method: a traceable reference, as-found and as-left values, and a stated measurement uncertainty. What differs is the reference used, the points that matter on your plant, and how often the drift is worth checking.
| Discipline | Applies to | Reference used | Calibration intervals |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flow | Custody transfer and billing meters, dosing lines, cooling water and compressed-air metering | Traceable master meter installed in series with the meter under test | Typically annual — more often on custody transfer or billing points |
| Temperature | RTDs, thermocouples and transmitters on pasteurisation, reactor and cold-chain points | Portable dry-block or liquid-bath comparison against a reference probe | Typically annual, or the interval set by a quality/ISO 9001 audit |
| Pressure | Gauges, transmitters and switches on safety-critical and DP-level points | Reference pressure gauge or comparator, tested rising and falling | Typically annual — shorter for safety-instrumented pressure switches |
