Calibration

On-site verification & calibration services

SEMAC Automation calibrates the three measurements that decide whether a process is profitable, safe and compliant: flow, temperature and pressure. Every service is delivered in the field, against a traceable reference, with a report that states the deviation found and the uncertainty of the measurement.

Which discipline applies where

All three services share the same method: a traceable reference, as-found and as-left values, and a stated measurement uncertainty. What differs is the reference used, the points that matter on your plant, and how often the drift is worth checking.

DisciplineApplies toReference usedCalibration intervals
FlowCustody transfer and billing meters, dosing lines, cooling water and compressed-air meteringTraceable master meter installed in series with the meter under testTypically annual — more often on custody transfer or billing points
TemperatureRTDs, thermocouples and transmitters on pasteurisation, reactor and cold-chain pointsPortable dry-block or liquid-bath comparison against a reference probeTypically annual, or the interval set by a quality/ISO 9001 audit
PressureGauges, transmitters and switches on safety-critical and DP-level pointsReference pressure gauge or comparator, tested rising and fallingTypically annual — shorter for safety-instrumented pressure switches
