How do island visits work in practice?

They are planned trips, and we batch several sites into one where we can. If you tell us your full list of points in advance we scope the trip to cover all of them, which keeps the mobilisation share per site sensible.

When should a hotel or resort schedule calibration?

Before the season. Chilled water, domestic hot water and pool circuits are impossible to work on at peak occupancy, and out-of-season is exactly when the work is easy and cheap to do.

Can you verify desalination plant measurement?

Yes. Feed, permeate and brine flow together with the pressure measurement across the membrane trains define both plant output and energy per cubic metre, so they are worth having accurate — and they are also the numbers used to judge whether performance is declining.

Is non-revenue water usually a metering problem?

Often, at least in part. Losses are calculated by subtracting one meter from another, so a modest error in either becomes a large apparent loss. Verifying the meters first prevents crews being sent to hunt leaks that were never there.
