Experienced specialists
Instrument health checks performed by senior field instrumentation experts.
Process efficiency by the experts
Keep your flow, temperature and pressure instrumentation operating at peak performance. SEMAC Automation provides expert verification & calibration across Attica, Thessaloniki and throughout Greece — helping industrial plants maximize productivity, profitability and regulatory compliance, without removing the instrument from the process.

CALIBRATION
SEMAC Automation calibrates the three measurements that decide whether a process is profitable, safe and compliant: flow, temperature and pressure. Every service is delivered in the field, against a traceable reference, with a report that states the deviation found and the uncertainty of the measurement.
In-situ verification and calibration of flow meters using a traceable master meter in series, so the line keeps running while the measurement is proven.

Learn moreInaccurate or poorly maintained measurement can lead to production losses, quality issues, unnecessary downtime, increased costs and compliance risks. Regular verification & calibration confirms instrument health and supports confident maintenance decisions — for industrial plants in Athens, Thessaloniki and across Greece.
Ensure data integrity across critical process points.
Identify drift or coating before faults occur.
Perform checks while the process is running.
Move from reactive to predictive maintenance.
THE COMPARISON METHOD
The most practical way to prove a flow meter in a working plant is to put a calibrated reference next to it and compare the two under the same conditions. This page explains that method step by step — what the master meter is, what the meter under test is, what gets recorded, and why the result is worth having.
See how it worksIsometric diagram of a calibration setup. Fluid flows from left to right through a pipe. It passes first through the master meter, the traceable reference instrument, then along a straight run of ten pipe diameters into the meter under test, and leaves through a further straight run of five pipe diameters. Both straight runs belong to the meter under test and are provided where its type requires them. A data acquisition unit below reads both meters at the same time and calculates the percentage deviation between them.

Beyond calibration
Choosing it, putting it into service, repairing it and answering the phone when something is not right — the work around a measurement point that is not a certificate.
SEMAC Automation combines deep instrumentation expertise with practical field experience. Our calibration procedures are built to ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and our ESYD accreditation is in progress. From flow to pressure and temperature, we support plants with solutions designed for performance and safety.

Describe the instrument and your plant, and we will tell you what can be verified in-situ, what needs a workshop calibration, and what it will take.
